We all want to be those people that are able to build good habits and to maintain it for the long term. Good habits at work both as a manager as well as an employees can improve our performance in a consistent way and can help us reach our goals and be successful.

 

 Behavioral Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

·        Understand the importance of good habits as a key player for our success.

·        The participants will identify their own personal habits at work that will be the most effective for their growth.

·        The participants will practice tools and techniques on how to start a good habit and how to sustain it for the long term.

 

 Detailed Course Outline

                           I.          Introduction and Background

a.      Definition of habit in general and what makes it a good one.

b.      What are the benefits of building good habits at work and why should we learn how to do it?

                          II.          Our brain

a.      Understanding the way our brain is wired and how it helps us to be able to rewire the way we want. 

b.      Learning the flexible mind idea and how we can improve its flexibility.

                        III.          The Current Situation

a.      being aware of the current situation in terms of habits and what works for us and what not.

b.      Identifying the cost of each of our habits.

                        IV.          Setting Goals

a.      Setting goals in order to have some clarity about the results each one of us would like to accomplish in the future.

b.      Defining our top 3 habits that align with our goals.

                         V.          Tips and Tools

a.      Learning and practicing tips and tools in how to start a new habit and to sustain it for the long term.

b.      learning how to deal with challenges along the way.
